BYOC FAQ
Do I need to bring brand-new clothes, or can they be pre-worn?
Pre-worn is fine as long as the garment is clean, dry, and still in good condition. Wash it first so it does not shrink after we press. We cannot press on stained, heavily pilled, or damaged areas. If you are not sure, send us a photo and we will check before you drop off.
Can you print on dark-coloured garments?
Yes. DTF transfers use a white ink underbase, so full-colour designs pop on black, navy, and dark fabrics just as well as they do on light colours.
What fabrics work? Will it work on polyester, blends, or stretchy fabric?
Almost everything. 100% cotton, polyester, 50/50 blends, tri-blends, nylon, canvas, denim. Stretchy performance fabrics work too, though we recommend sizing the print down slightly so it flexes with the material. If you are bringing something unusual (leather, waxed canvas, water-repellent tech fabric), send us a photo first.
How long will the print last? Will it crack or peel in the wash?
DTF transfers last 100+ washes when applied correctly. Wash inside out in cold water and tumble dry low. They will not crack the way vinyl sometimes does over time.
What if you accidentally damage my garment?
We pre-press and test every job carefully, and issues are rare. If something does go wrong because of us, we will either replace the garment at comparable value or refund the press fee for that piece. For irreplaceable or vintage pieces, please mention it when you book so we can take extra care or decline if the risk is too high.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes, $25 minimum order. That is the total value of the job, not a per-garment minimum. For one small chest print at $10, you would need at least 3 prints to hit the minimum.
Can I drop off 100+ garments?
Absolutely. Bulk jobs are our favourite. For 50+ garments, please book a drop-off appointment so we can set aside the space and timeline. Rush turnaround is possible for larger jobs, call us to discuss.
Do I need to book an appointment, or can I just walk in?
For small jobs (under 20 prints), walk-ins during business hours are fine. For bigger jobs or anything custom, book a drop-off so we can plan around it. Fastest way is to fill out the form on this page, or text 306-290-5120.
Can I ship my garments to you if I'm not in Saskatoon?
Yes. Ship them to our Brighton, Saskatoon address (we will send it to you after you book). We will print, press, and ship them back anywhere in Canada. Shipping charged at cost. Usually adds 3 to 5 days to the timeline.
How do I supply my artwork? What file format?
PNG with a transparent background is ideal. PDF and AI files also work. Minimum 300 DPI at print size. Not sure? Send it anyway. We review every file for free and let you know if anything needs fixing before we print.
Can you help if I don't have a design yet?
Yes. Our design team can put something together for you. Small tweaks to an existing idea (reformatting, cleaning up, prepping for print) are included free. For new designs built from scratch, head to our Design Help page and tell us what you have in mind.
