What is a DTF transfer?
A DTF transfer is a full colour design printed onto a special film that you heat press onto almost any fabric. Unlike screen printing there are no setup fees, no colour limits and no minimums. Unlike vinyl there is no weeding and you get full photographic detail. And unlike sublimation, DTF works on cotton, polyester, blends, dark fabrics and light fabrics.

How to press a DTF transfer
- Pre press the garment for 3 to 5 seconds to remove moisture and flatten the fibres.
- Position the transfer film side down where you want it.
- Press with firm, even pressure for 10 to 15 seconds at 300 to 325 degrees F.
- Peel cold for best results, then re-press with parchment for a softer finish.
Use a heat press, not an iron. A household iron does not give consistent enough heat or pressure. Full instructions come with every order.
